I have been digging and digging around the people I know trying to find something out on the schedule problems.
This is what I was told, and keep in mind I am going to tell you the way it was told to me.
MU has offered KSU a 2for1 deal with MU going to KSU 2003, KSU coming to Huntington 2005, MU going to KSU some time later for the 3rd and final game. KSU had declined the offer before and had been insisting on a one and done trip to their place. Now with the way their schedule is going, they have started "listening" to MU about a 2for1. The offer is on the table.
MU has offered USF two different deals. A 1for1 and a 2for2. Both deals would have USF coming to Huntington the first game. As we all know now, ESPN is helping with negotiations on this proposed series. But I told you all that a month ago. ESPN is also trying to hook up the KSU/MU deal too.
Other than that, MU is still talking to other teams too.
